Ja'Marcus S. Grace the Director and Lead Math Teacher of True Knight Academy for his exceptional dedication to advancing specialized education in Houston. With six and a half years of service, he has played a pivotal role in the school’s growth, including the expansion to two new locations. True Night Academy is a private, Christian-based school serving students with special needs, offering a blended Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) model alongside academic instruction. Through its extended school year ABA clinic, the academy provides individualized clinical sessions focused on behavioral development, speech, and essential life skills, while delivering a structured academic curriculum designed to meet students where they are and help them achieve meaningful educational progress. Beginning Mr. Grace's career at the academy as a math teacher—also instructing English, science, social studies, and computer studies—he has risen to leadership while building a strong instructional team. In addition to classroom excellence, he champions experiential learning through community-based instruction, including field trips to local stores, swimming lessons, and real-world socialization experiences that empower families and foster independence. A dedicated basketball coach and two-year undefeated champion within Special Olympics programming, he also encourages participation in baseball, volleyball, and bowling through local special needs sports leagues. With a background in computer science and education, and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling, Ja'Marcus S.
